Two Busy Weeks!

The last two weeks have been a whirlwind for me, in a good way! First, I got to represent Marian in Myrtle Beach with the golf team. Although I didn't play as well as I would have liked, I had a great time with my teammates and Coach Ford. It was nice to just be able to relax some, and hang out in some warmer weather, and to all watch IU beat Purdue again!

As a bonus I had never been to South Carolina, so I was able to scratch state 39 off my list of states I have visited. I am hoping for Maine and Louisiana before the end of the year.

On spring break, I was lucky enough to be able to go with my cousin, who was also on spring break from Butler, to Colorado to ski for 3 days. It was an amazing trip. I always forget how much I miss the mountains and skiing until I am out there on the slopes. One day we skied over 28,000 vertical feet, with no falls!

Lastly for the rest of my spring break I was able to hang out with my high school friends at home and play a lot of cards. I even got to watch two of them play in a golf tournament in Terre Haute for their college. Staying loyal to my lifelong friends is so important to me.

I started the process of trying to find a summer job, but haven't got that far yet with that, I am sure mom and dad will remind me daily though about that. I hope everyone who reads this is doing well! Until next time... Benjamin
